Mrs. Jennifer Carere
Jennifer Carere started her educational career as a Social Studies teacher for grades 7 and 8 right here at the West Babylon Junior High School in the 2000-2001 school year. She embraced the "West Babylon Family" and became involved in many different committees and activities throughout the years. During her eighth year she was then appointed K-8 Social Studies Coordinator for the district. After showing she could successfully "Be All You Can Be" she was then appointed Assistant Principal in July 2011.
Mrs. Carere earned a B.A. degree in Sociology from Plattsburgh University, received an M.S. degree in education from Stony Brook University and administrative certification from Dowling College.
Mrs. Carere has co-chaired the District Wide CCC-SEAL character building committee, enabling a character education program to take place within the West Babylon School District. She encourages everyone to focus on the many character traits of Character Certainly Counts and to "Be All You Can Be".
In her free time Mrs. Carere enjoys the beach, boating and spending time with her husband and two amazing children Michael Rocco age 10, and Gabriella Love age 7.
