Mr. Greg Hartranft


Mr. Greg Hartranft began teaching Technology Education at the West Babylon Junior High School in 1997 after graduating from Oswego State University in central New York. He received his first masters degree in Instructional Technology from New York Institute of Technology in 2000.  In 2007 he completed his second masters degree in Educational Administration from the College of New Rochelle.
Mr. Hartranft begins his 15th year teaching 7th and 8th grade students at the W.B.J.H.S. and wouldn't want to work in any other school in the world.
Topics covered in his classes include rocketry and space technologies, communication technology such as green screen production and graphic communications, desktop publishing, bridge building and design, and transportation technologies.
After school Mr. Hartranft coaches junior high football, girls basketball, and boys lacrosse.
